Co-Founder & Managing Director
Kara is the co-founder and managing director of ADV Marketing. She recognized a need in the energy and industrial services space for smart, intentional, and effective B2B (business-to-business) marketing that was not currently being served. She taps into her many years of experience both in business development and owning a company before starting ADV Marketing to make recommendations that make sense for business owners. Her many years of driving successful businesses give her a unique sympathy for business development teams and owners.
Kara received her B.B.A. from the University of Phoenix and she serves on the Board of Directors for Women’s Energy Networking Houston as the Marketing Chair. When not leading ADV Marketing, she is a proud mom to 4 hilarious children.
Sarah Roberts, M.S.
Sarah focuses on serving small to medium-sized businesses that require specialized, intentional, and technically-oriented marketing in the energy or industrial markets. Sarah’s expertise and passion are in building effective B2B marketing strategies for clients with long sales cycles. She also helped develop ADV Marketing’s targeted B2B marketing strategy offerings, which are foundational to the content creation services the agency provides to its clients. In her time with ADV Marketing, Sarah has served engineering firms, technology providers, and manufacturers in the energy, construction, and industrial services markets.
Sarah received a B.B.A. and M.S. in Marketing from Texas A&M University. When she is not supporting clients at ADV Marketing, she contributes to marketing research studies at Texas A&M looking into the effects of media and language on consumer behavior.
Morgan Hutcherson, M.S.
Morgan is an account manager at ADV Marketing serving small to medium-sized businesses in the energy and industrial markets. Morgan’s expertise and interests lie in building B2B strategies, conducting market research, and developing powerful, personalized content that aligns with her clients’ messaging. During her time at ADV Marketing, she has assisted clients with branding, identified opportunities to increase engagement and awareness, and launched websites.
Morgan received her B.S. in Agricultural Economics and M.S. in Marketing from Texas A&M University. When she is not working as an account manager, she is spending time with friends and family or traveling.
Belle Mitchum, M.S.
Belle Mitchum is one of the account managers at ADV Marketing. With a keen interest in consumer behavior and graphic design, Belle’s experience with social media, photography, and organization enables her to create enticing visual content. She taps into her years of experience in marketing, copyediting, and graphic communications to create engaging, tailored content. During her time with ADV Marketing, Belle has served energy manufacturers, women in energy networks, and industrial services markets.
Belle received a B.B.A. in Management with a Human Resources concentration and Psychology minor from Texas State University. She later went on to complete her M.S. in Marketing from Clemson University where she received the Clemson Dorsch Memorial Annual Fellowship.
Dr. Chris Alexander, PE
Dr. Chris Alexander is the co-founder of ADV Marketing, as well as the founder and president of ADV Integrity. He has over 25 years of experience in designing, evaluating, and testing a wide range of technologies, including the use of composite materials in repairing high pressure pipelines and offshore risers. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas. Chris has also authored more than 130 technical papers and made presentations internationally on various subjects.
Chris received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, where as an undergraduate student he was a member of the Corps of Cadets, Ross Volunteer Company, and Drum Major in the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Brand. Chris spends time outside of work with his family, and is a past Chairman of the Rosehill Christian School Board as well as an Elder at Magnolia Bible Church. He is also the author of Be the Beans and co-hosts the Business by the Books podcast with his daughter, Ashley.
