Print Media with Power
An engineering consulting firm wanted to increase
brand awareness, top-of-mind consideration, and engagement using a unique magazine showcasing impressive projects.
Here’s how they did it.
Seeking Powerful Print Media with Results
An engineering consulting firm specializing in the midstream sector of the energy industry needed to communicate its value and experience in providing a complex array of services to current and prospective clients. The firm wanted to increase brand awareness and top-of-mind consideration. To measure this goal, the objective was to increase engagement on the website and social by 20%. The methods utilized were the firm’s LinkedIn, website, and a print media magazine. In the end, they saw an increase in engagements, combined clicks, and article views.
This project is an AMA-Houston 2020 Crystal Award winner for excellence in print media marketing.
Combining Several Services with ADV Marketing’s Expertise
The overall goal of this project was to educate the firm’s current and prospective client base about the projects completed, services rendered, and the client successes facilitated by the firm. The following tactics were used:
- Writing articles about topical industry subjects and completed projects highlighting the engineering staff as subject matter experts
- Designing and curating photos, articles, and design elements in a multi-page magazine
- Managing social media and website updates to post articles on the firm’s LinkedIn and website
Exceeding Engagement Expectations
The articles receive 192 engagements (likes, comments, or reposts) and 302 total combined clicks on LinkedIn. The articles received 874 total views on the website from 329 total visitors, which compared to the 489 article views received in 2021, was a 44% increase. The 44% increase in views surpassed the client’s objective.
